Exotic birds such as parrots, macaws, cockatoos were popular Victorian pets. While generally considered appropriate pets for women, especially lonely women, as an outlet for their emotions, both Rossetti and the De Morgans kept exotic birds. Several De Morgan panels feature parrots.

The Macaw and Parrot accent tiles and panel tiles are available on 6 and 8 inch ceramic tiles.
There are three Parrot and Macaw single accents tiles, featuring the perched macaw, the parrot, and the macaw spreading his wings wings. The single parrot and macaw accent tiles are available in six- or eight- inch tiles.
Single Parrot Macaw accents tile are available as accent tiles or as a center tile over a fireplace. The direction of the bird can be reversed. They are currently available with a black background only.
The De Morgan Parrot and accent tiles really are perfect for a small space that just needs something.

And if you are installing a parrot backsplash, placing the accent tiles on an adjoining wall expands the theme. Fireplace tiles are intended as a fireplace surround. They are seamless on the vertical, so you can increase or decrease height by adding and subtracting tiles. They are seamless when reversed so you can accommodate any height of fireplace panel.
Panels can be repeated to appear seamless.
Six Inch Tile: $396 each panel
Eight Inch Tile: $420 each panel
Six Inch Tile: $198 each panel

Black background: Add $5 per tile.

Fireplace renovations can have more space constraints than tile renovations and the configurations are endless. The parrots and macaws are very forgiving in this regard. They are seamless on the vertical so you can increase height by adding tiles. For eight inch tiles, by putting the tiles on 8 x 6 inch tiles, the increment can be increased or decreased in 6-inch increments at the top or bottom of the panel.
Is you fireplace surrounds space not exactly 6 or 8 inches? I've even seen fireplaces where the space between the firebox and the mantel was different on each tile side. We can solve this! By leaving a slightly larger outside border allows widths to be adjusted at install time.
