Both the Jane Morris's daisies were the inspiration for many variations of daisy tiles that would follow in the next 30 years, and also for Columbine. Jane Daisies and May Flowerpot are available in 4 inch and 6 inch tiles.

The Evolution of the Daisy

This backsplash is built on Morris daisies spanning more than three decades. From top: 1882 Morris & Co Daisies (sold into the 1920s), second row, 1870s fronded daisy, bottom row: 1860s Morris daisy tile. It's fine to order just one variation of the tiles, but layering them makes an interesting effect. And it has an interesting backstory. Columbine

Columbine was also inspired by Jane Morris's daisies. It's one of the first tile I did. I've added 6 inch ceramic to the 4.25 inch. The yellow in this photo is a little light. The tile has a really nice transition from a purple-haloed blue to a more Victorian blue and then into the yellow. It's really delicious. Discount is 20% up to $500, through May 4.
