Anemone Accent Tiles

William Morris Anemone Tile

The Anemone pattern as we know it comes from an undated Morris & Co pattern book and is usually attributed as a very late Morris & Co. pattern (May Morris, John Henry Dearle) -- yet it is more simple, and arguably closer to early Morris, than any other Dearle pattern, which makes me lean toward May Morris. Dearle supervised other designers for Morris & Co. Classic Dearle patterns, such as Golden Lily are much more ornate.

Larger Accent Tiles

Anemone is available in 6 x 6 inch and 8 x 8 inch tile. Anemone is an accent tile; it is not seamless in either direction. It is available with silver leaves on a black or indigo background. This is the base for the backsplash that is coming eventually.
